SYSTRA's expanding Construction Management business unit is seeking Construction Field Engineers – Mechanical to support our current and upcoming rail mass transit construction management assignments on construction projects in operating railroad environments in the New York City Area, including several NYCT Station Improvement Projects.
Responsibilities:
The Construction Field Engineer – Mechanical under the direction of the Resident Engineer will:
Qualifications:
Minimum Five (5) years of relevant engineering experience including mechanical systems, air-conditioning, ventilation, pumps, hydraulic systems, and sewage ejector systems.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
Good verbal and written communication skills
Prior field experience on rail mass transit projects. NYCT Improvement project experience including elevator installation projects preferred.
